💊 We try to deal with prescription requests in a timely manner, but please allow 72 hours for your repeat prescription request to be processed and sent electronically to your nominated pharmacy.
At Huntcliff Surgery, there are 4 ways to order your repeat medications:

To register for this service:
We have a letterbox outside of the surgery's reception. There are two ways prescriptions may be requested via this method:
1 - using the counterfoil of paper prescriptions (FP10), you can tick the requested medications for the list of your repeats shown here.
2 - submitting a handwritten request. If using this method, please ensure you include your name, date of birth, and address on the request, ensure writing is legible and include both the name and dose of the medication.
This method is less favourable than the app or online access as it can take longer to process and there is a greater risk of delay or error if all of the relevant information is not provided.
Available between 10am and 12 noon
This option is reserved for patients who cannot use the other methods. We anticipate this to be a small cohort of patients.

These charges apply in England only. In Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales prescriptions are free of charge.
If you will have to pay for four or more prescription items in three months or more than 14 items in 12 months, you may find it cheaper to buy a PPC.
